The artwork which adorns each paddle in this series is inspired by the native species of marine life found in the Sea of Abaco around the island of Green Turtle Cay. The Green Turtle is extremely popular with tourists who flock to the island each year to observe these beautiful sea creatures. This type of turtle is extremely gentle. Unlike the species on land it is not able to retract back into their shell.
